Victoria Day Cake!

It’s Victoria Day here in Canada! Always celebrated on the last Monday on or before May 24th, in honour of both Queen Victoria's birthday and the current reigning Canadian sovereign's official birthday, Victoria Day marks the unofficial start to summer! Despite some rain it has been a beautiful weekend full of visiting friends and yummy food with family. 

In honour of this wonderful weekend I am featuring the delicious felt treats made by Margaret over at onenonly88. All of her creations are hand-cut and hand-sewn. I’m pretty sure any monarch would be lucky to get such a beautiful cake for their birthday! For all my Canadian friends have an excellent long-weekend and for Queen Elizabeth have a very happy pretend birthday!
