Parent’s Garden in Bloom

Matt and I spent Father’s Day weekend back in London so we could visit with our dads. Our group of friends has recently become obsessed with a game called ladder golf so we brought it home to play with our parents (who loved it of course because ladder golf is better than ice-cream). Since ladder golf is an outdoor game, we got the chance to spend some time in my parent’s beautiful backyard.

It was perfect timing to see the garden because everything was in bloom and about an hour after we left, there was a freak hail storm that smushed a bunch of Mommy’s flowers.

I love their backyard because it has a huge oak tree at the back so there’s lots of shade and the hedges make it so you can’t see any neighbours even though it’s in the middle of the suburbs.

I don’t really like to garden so getting to hang out at my parent’s is sort of the ideal situation because I get all the benefits of a lovely backyard with none of the work! Sigh, I miss my London home sometimes.
