Pre-Christmas Getaway

As promised here are some more photos from my Niagara Falls weekend. We stayed 3 nights which gave us lots to time to explore and do all kinds of touristy things. For example, a good part of one of our days was spent trying to pinpoint exactly where the rainbow ended so we could dig for gold! Unfortunately there were two rainbows and the bottoms kept moving...

I think my favourite part of the trip was the day we spent going on winery tours. We ended up going to 5 different wineries and coming home with 19 bottles of wine which should keep us content for quite some time. Wine is good for you right?

My least favourite part of the trip was the Ferris wheel which took you up above the Falls and Clifton Hill. It seemed like a good idea in theory but when you’re stopped at the very top with the wind howling and shaking your cage and your boyfriend taking a video of you freaking out it’s not quite so much fun.

Even though it was freezing, we went and saw the Falls all lit up at night which was a pretty neat thing to see! I think it was a perfect weekend to have before the holiday craziness truly begins.
