Owl Mobile

Sorry for the lack of posts lately but I’ve been very busy working on my first ever mobile. It’s not completely done but I like it so much that I couldn’t wait to share it!

I built the wooden top myself, and because of that experience I believe I will be asking for a power sander for Christmas this year as well as a better drill. It turns out it’s quite difficult to explain to patronizing hardware store employees that you’re building a mobile and that not only do you need an electric drill, but that the craft store doesn’t sell them.

I learned a lot about mobile construction with this project and I know there are a lot of things I’ll do differently next time but I‘m still really happy with how this turned out.
