I love working with felt over almost any other material but I recently finished an embroidery project that I’m pretty pleased with so I thought I’d share. I wanted a nice autumn themed project, a little bit spooky and definitely old fashioned looking. I designed this around the children’s rhyme One for Sorrow, which I always thought was creepy, and I replaced magpies with crows because I like them better. Ok, I think it’s time to get back to my felt!
This is beautiful! I'm looking for inspiration to make up a pattern based on this rhyme myself. I really like the slightly gothic quality of yours. I'll stick with magpies, rather than crows, though.
